Grand Rapids Ophthalmology’s newest location, Lakeshore Eye in East GR, is now open

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., September 25, 2017 – Grand Rapids Ophthalmology’s (GRO) newest location, Lakeshore Eye, is now open. This office—located at 717 Bagley, East Grand Rapids—is part of GRO’s growing commitment to providing West Michigan a broad spectrum of high quality, state-of-the-art eye care products and services with 12 locations to provide patients convenience and flexibility.

“This office is an exciting addition for our organization,” says Bill Hughson, GRO’s CEO. “It is within walking distance to many of our patients’ homes, and the new optical boutique is a welcomed addition to the amenities Gas Light Village already provides residents and visitors.”

Lakeshore Eye’s fully remodeled interior offers a wide range of eyeglasses for adults and children, including sporty styles from Oakley and Smith, stylish looks from Marc Jacobs, colorful Lilly Pulitzer and Cole Haan, and updated classics from John Varvatos and Tommy Hilfiger. A generous assortment of sunglasses, including Maui Jim and Ray-Ban, are available with or without a prescription. William Schultz, OD, who has been providing eye health care in East Grand Rapids for the past 21 years, will continue to see his patients at this newly renovated office—he is also accepting new patients.
